GDPR Compliance – May 25th

On May 25th, a new privacy regulation came into effect in the EU – changing how the online data of millions of individuals is collected and used. This new law, formally named the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), provides citizens of the EU and EEA with greater control over their personal data and assures that their information is being securely protected across Europe. At Dream Tank, we want to be totally transparent about how we handle your your personal data – here is our pledge to uphold the rights granted by the GDPR.

• The right to access – You have the right to request access to your own personal data. Dream Tank will always provide this information on request.

 

• The right to be forgotten – You can withdraw consent from a company to use your personal data. Dream Tank offers an opt-out link on each of our emails and will honor all requests of this type.

 

• The right to data portability – Dream Tank honors your right to transfer your data from one service provider to another.

 

• The right to be informed – You must opt-in for your data to be gathered, and consent is freely given rather than implied. Dream Tank will continue to uphold this standard as we’ve done in the past.

 

• The right to have information corrected – You have the right for your data to be updated if it is incorrect or out of date. Dream Tank will comply fully with these requests.

 

• The right to restrict processing – You may request that your data is not used for processing, which Dream Tank will always honor on request.

 

• The right to object – At any time, you may stop the processing of your data for direct marketing communications. We will stop any processing as soon as the request is received.

 

• The right to be notified – We will notify any individuals affected by a data breach within 72 hours of first becoming aware of said breach.
