• Location: Museum of Boulder

• Ages: 6–9

• Cost: $275 (Scholarships Available)​

Over three dynamic days, campers will:

• Explore real-world climate challenges through engaging activities.

• Innovate by dreaming up bold solutions to protect our planet.

• Create prototypes of their ideas, bringing visions to life.

• Present their projects during a joyful Demo Day celebration.​

This camp is more than just fun—it’s a transformative journey that equips children with:

• Problem-solving skills for real-world issues.

• Confidence in public speaking and storytelling.

• Collaboration abilities through teamwork.

• A sense of empowerment to make a difference.​

Daily Themes & Activities:

Day 1: Dream & Discover

• Engaging icebreakers and climate-themed games.

• Storytelling sessions to spark imagination.

• Brainstorming innovative solutions to environmental challenges

Day 2: Design & Build

• Hands-on creation of mini models or plans.

• Eco-friendly arts and crafts.

• Mentor-led design challenges and surprises.​

• Practice presentations with peers.

• Showcase projects to family and friends.

• Celebrate with fun activities like a solar dance party or water balloon games!​

Planet Protectors Camp is powered by our Dream Tank Fellows — visionary youth changemakers — and supported by an intergenerational team of mentors who bring creativity, care, and lived experience into every moment.

Campers will be guided by:

• Kalyahn Varanasi, our Dream Tank Youth Fellow and camp coordinator, designing this experience as part of his real-world climate innovation journey.

• A team of Dream Tank Mentors, including local educators, entrepreneurs, and creatives who are passionate about empowering the next generation.

But this isn’t just about meeting mentors — it’s also a chance to become one.
